To say the paint on this tank was bad is an understatement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When the bike first arrived Just touching the tank would leave your hands black. Lets take a look<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So I wiped it down to asses the damage to the paint<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Here we can see that the paint is scratched pretty badly on the front left side, there is orange paint drops embedded in the paint, and there is a burned in drip all the way down the tank from presumably Gas Dripping. there’s also a drip on the side and the paint is very dull<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After Some amount of compounding and polishing I managed to get rid of the drips and bring back some of the shine. At this point the tank is going to be put aside until some more important repairs are taken care of<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
