Dippy was my Heart and soul. She was the sweetest kitty that thought she was a dog.
She would wag her tail when she was happy to see me, she would try her best to growl with a purr when she was mad, she would follow me around like a puppy everywhere I’d go.
She was also deaf… well sort of… you see you could sneak up on her and clap your hands above her head and she wouldn’t even know you were there until she turned around and saw you standing there. But… if I called her name even very quietly she would come running like she heard me.
She slept almost every night next to me with one exception, Joscelyn My Niece and God daughter. When she slept over at our house Dippy stuck with her like glue. and even slept downstairs with Joscelyn while I slept alone upstairs. I guess she had her best girlfriend sleepover. you can see her below with her best bud.
She played a little differently also, If I took all of her many little mouse toys and threw them into the air all round the room before I left for work, she would have them all neatly tucked away next to her bed where they belonged when I got home.
She has passed on now but there is not a night when I don’t wake up in the middle of the night thinking I rolled over onto her. 🙂
